Did cheetahs go extinct?
Today, there are estimated to be only 7,100 cheetahs left in the wild; and their future remains uncertain.
Cheetahs have vanished from approximately 90 percent of their historic range in Africa, and are extinct in Asia except for a single, isolated population of perhaps 50 individuals in central Iran.
How many king cheetahs are left in the world 2021?
King cheetahs are incredibly rare. It's estimated that there could be as few as 10 left in the wild.
There are only about 30 to 50 in the entire world, and most of those are in protected parks and wildlife reservations.
