Orangutans are great apes native to the rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia.
They are now found only in parts of Borneo and Sumatra.
Known for their distinctive red fur, orangutans are the largest arboreal mammal, spending most of their time in trees.
These highly intelligent animals, display many characteristics we see in our modern society.
