This painting captures an event in the process of unfolding,
we can see some type of disturbance along the street on the right
people are starting to gather, which Lowry always found curious, if not somewhat amusing.
Nevertheless this is a classic painting by Lowry which encompasses all the elements that he is recognized for.
The industrial background, the groups of figures, in this case focused on the trouble in the street, yet all busy doing different actions, and even a dog.
