A lovely old drawing of life around the village Post Office.
Everyday life carrying on as normal..
It is a little unclear anf grubby, and could do with a good clean
Plenty of figures in the foreground, all busy going about their business.
The industrial background is never far away in this area,
and we can see the smoke rising from the factory chimmneys.
Traditionally the post office is a main hub of the community and this sketch illustrates this very well.
